I'm soooo happy!
I found family of the man Mike calls "dad" - John Elias Evans, his stepdad.

I was toiling around on Ancestry a while ago, and found a post that included John E Evans, from Kingston, PA. I already knew from Johns Social Security Application and census' that his father's name was also John E, as well as his mothers' name Helen Richards, so when both names came up in one post...... I had to try.  Turns out, the lady posting was Johns niece. She gave access to the tree, but even after she put it as "public" I still can't see it. She also sent me information, and her brother sent her a picture, to forward to us. I immediately scrapped it!

I haven't gotten back in touch with her, but, as with everything else it seems, I dig in spurts, and I am very bad at keeping in touch outside of things I'm working on at that particular time. That too, is on my new years resolution list to improve on. Taking time for people and things that matter....... 

So, hopefully this page will get a little longer soon.
